Nursery Reveal

DIY | Family

My little Juni Bug’s Nursery Reveal is finally here! It brought me such joy designing, DIY’ing and decorating this special space – and with her being our last baby, I pulled out all of the stops.

If you have been following along on this decorating journey, I started back in April and completed this Nursery over 6 months later! Listen, I take my time with some home projects, and can breeze through others. This Nursery is a special one and was so very personal to our family! If you are catching up here, listed below are all the DIY’s that went into this Nursery. Click on the links below for full tutorials.

I took a lot of other pieces from nursery’s and bedroom’s past and completely transformed them! I am so happy with how this space turned out. Between the crib, the rocker, basinet and other baby accessories, this space is warm, comforting and designed with so much love.

This Nursery Reveal brings a breath of fresh air, as well as a trip down memory lane for me and my last born.

The unique touches throughout have been fun to source! I always have such a clear vision for a space and this Nursery Reveal is no different. Things can adjust along the way, but I knew I wanted it to be feminine and cozy!

As always, a good coat of paint makes a room pop – and we did a deep blue to accent the wallpaper. I color matched the wallpaper at my local paint store the get the perfect shade of blue.

The Wallpaper – ohhhh that gorgeous, girly, beautiful wallpaper MADE this Nursery Reveal. It’s so unique and adds the perfect amount of whimsy to the room! And adding the DIY Box Beams made everything look so incredibly custom – still so obsessed with that addition.

Surprisingly the rug was one of the first purchases and pieces I chose, and I don’t regret it one bit – it’s the perfect mix of boho and girly and super soft. You end up spending so much time on the floor playing with your kiddos, you need to be comfy!

The Nursery Shiplap was so fun, and created such an impact on this accent wall. Shiplap really can make any space look really rich and add dimension. And it is no different in the nursery.

And you alllll know the saga of the DIY dresser – you were just as committed as me!

This dresser has been in Chris’ family for years and I have always done something unique to transform it for each of my kids rooms – and I love how it turned out for Juni!

Finishing touches like this DIY branch baby mobile made the room ‘so Juni’ even before we met her! This little owl will watch over her for years to come, I just know it.

And now she is here, little Juni Rose! Making memories with her and the rest of the family is so incredible. We are all just so smitten with her, she has completed us more than we can ever imagined.
