Spring Refresh with blues and pinks

French Country Modern | Home Tour | Interior Decor

Spring is just around the corner and I am welcoming the change with open arms. It’s been a long cold winter here in Utah and spring sometimes doesn’t show its blooms till May! I am certainly hoping April will be full of color this year! Until then, I’ll just pretend spring has arrived inside.  Today I’m sharing my spring refresh with blues and pinks.

My entry way was an easy refresh. I simply removed all signs of winter and replaced the with a faux floral arrangement and a blue ginger jar. My scalloped white entry table is unfortunately discontinued, but I’ve linked some similar options if you are interested.

The living room is where most of the change happened. I’ve removed all of the deep red velvets and rich leopard prints to create space for a lighter color scheme. Light pinks and blues have filled the room with a new promise of spring. All of my new throw pillows are from Tonic Living, including these amazing lumbar pillows. One of my favorite things about tonic Living is the accessible designer fabrics available to everyone. All my new and old pillows are linked below! CLICK HERE to see last years spring tour.

I don’t have much of a green thumb, so I’m always on the hunt for realistic looking faux greenery and blooms. I am obsessed with theselarge faux branches filling the space behind my sofa. I will use these year after year. I sprinkled some smaller faux greens around the room that really trick the eye too.

Woven easter eggs, layered designer books, pastel pottery, and pink blossoms add the perfect hints of spring to my coffee table. I pulled out my small collection of coral and displayed them on my side tables too.

I even changed up my living room mantel for the season. Sometimes rearranging things you already have around your house is all it takes for a great refreshed look. I framed this Hermes scarf last summer and it’s been hanging in my bedroom ever since. I swapped out some other artwork for my framed scarf and gathered my glass candlesticks from my office. I bought nothing new, yet created a whole new look. Tip: Don’t be afraid to swap out pieces all around your house and do some rearranging. A design refresh doesn’t always mean buying new things!

Next week I’ll be sharing how I sprinkled some spring into my kitchen, but for now i’ll leave you with a little Easter inspo. Each year I get my children a New Easter Sunday outfit that transitions thought spring and summer too. I find that my kids get loads of candy from school, relatives, and egg hunts, so an easter basket filled with some special items such as sandals, dresses, bows, suits, ties, swimsuits, and sunglasses is a great way to kick off the new season in style. They look forward to it every year.  This year, I purchased these custom easter basket liners from Porter Lane Home.  You can customize their names and fonts, fabric color, and ribbon color.  I’ll be using these baskets and liners year after year.  The custom liners fit the Large size baskets perfectly. I thought these were a fun way to personalize each basket and create an ongoing tradition. You can get 15% off you own custom basket liners with the code: Remington at checkout. Click HERE TO ORDER YOUR BASKET LINERS. Basket and my easter outfit picks linked below!

  1. Love all your Spring updates! I also would put swimsuits in my girls Easter baskets! However, both times I tried it they had growth spurts from April to June and outgrew the suits!

  2. Mysha-your house and vision is amazingly beautiful! We are using a lot of your elements in our new build (on the other side of the US). Do you love your Provenza floors, or would you do something different? Are they the Liverpool color that you blogged about in your home tour? Thanks!
