Easy Dollar Store Halloween Craft: DIY Ghost Frames

Halloween is here, and if you’re looking for a fun and easy craft to do with your kids, I’ve got the perfect project. This little DIY ghost frame craft is simple, budget-friendly, and kid-approved! Plus it costs under $10 to make!
I grabbed my arched frame at the dollar store, but you can find similar ones online (I’ll link a few Amazon options below). White frames make this project even easier, but you can use any color you have on hand.

How to make DIY Ghost Frames:
- Take out the stock photo inside the frame.
- Using a black Sharpie, draw ghost eyes and a spooky mouth right on the paper insert. (Kids love coming up with different faces—scary, silly, or surprised!)
- If you don’t want to use the stock image, just cut out a piece of white paper to fit inside and draw on that instead.
- For an extra touch, glue on a bowtie, ribbon, or even some mini Halloween stickers to dress up your ghost.

That’s it! A cute little Halloween craft that looks adorable sitting on a shelf or entry table. And the best part? It’s so easy, your kids can help every step of the way.
