Plus, I’ve created a couple of additional flavors that I really hope you’ll enjoy.  Chocolate Covered Ritz sandwich’s here we go!
I have joined a few of my blogger buddies for a little cookie exchange today.  So welcome if you’re coming from Leslies blog at My 100 Year Old Home.  There are 8 of us bloggers participating, meaning you get 8 yummy recipes to try at home.  I know they will all be so delicious. At the end of my post you’ll find a link to the next blog so you can easily navigate all the yummy treats.
I have been a huge fan of anything chocolate & peanut butter since basically birth! Â The first time my sister in law made these yummy treats for us I knew I had to have the recipe. Â Not only did she share this simple yet “O So Delicious” recipe with me, she also shared a little story about how this simple peanut buttery-chocolate treat started in her family.
My sister in law’s grandmother named Betty worked in a candy shop. Â She came to visit one day with a shoe box full of treats. Â Originally the shoe box housed a pair of high heels with the logo written on the side “fancy Steps”, but on this day it was full of Chocolate covered, peanut butter filled ritz cracker sandwiches topped with chopped pecans. Since that day it became a favorite family treat and will forever be known as “Fancy Steps” in her family.
Not only are these chocolate peanut butter treats a total crowd pleaser, but they are super simple to make. Â I even jazzed them up a bit and added a couple additional festive flavor. Â Now you have the perfect doorstep gift for all your neighbors!
