Huge red bow for outdoor Christmas decor

This year, my front porch is giving all the classic red and green vibes with a cozy Christmas twist. It all starts with my signature big red bow! This bow has become a must-have in my outdoor decor each season. I love how it pops against the clean, white backdrop of my brick. My archway, measuring 8 feet wide by 11.5 feet tall, frames the 48″ H x 12″ W x 60″ D bow perfectly. There are lots of sizes available, so you can pick the one that fits your home best.

Bringing Classic Christmas Charm to My Front Porch

To begin, I framed the front door with two 9-foot prelit garlands. I overlapped them in the middle for a fuller look. My reliable outdoor hooks hold the garlands securely, even in Utah’s snowy weather. I then added plaid ribbon bows to each side. At the center top, I attached a ribbon swag I made a couple of years ago. Frosted berry picks and black-and-white ornaments gave it a pop of color and texture.

Christmas door wreaths

No Christmas porch is complete without wreaths. I picked these Wayfair holiday wreaths with a lovely natural twill wrap. They look so realistic! I kept the decoration simple by adding a tiny ribbon bundle to each one.

Adding Cozy Greenery and Twinkling Lights

Outdoor Lightup Ornaments.

For a classic touch of greenery, I added faux cedar trees to my planters, which bring the perfect pop of lush color. This year, I couldn’t resist this set of three Christmas globe ornaments that light up at night. They cast a magical glow and look so pretty nestled into my planters—though they’re just as gorgeous hanging if that’s your style! Make sure you have a nearby outlet to hide the cords for a clean look. To balance things out, I added a giant jingle bell opposite the ornaments for a little extra holiday charm.

The doormat I chose has a cute Christmas tree print that stands out on its own or can be layered over a larger rug for more dimension. I also added a stack of firewood in a stylish holder (link) to enhance that cozy Christmas feeling. Lastly, each of my porch lanterns got dressed up with a prelit pine swag and a festive bow, completing the whole look.
