Wassail Cider Recipe
Have you ever heard of Wassail? Most of my friends haven’t either, but its similar to a cider. Wassail originated form a Medieval English drinking ritual intended to ensure a good cider apple harvest the following year. In my house, Wassail is made each holiday season starting with Thanksgiving. I love this spiced drink, and you can serve it hot or cold. I prefer Hot! Read on as I share my family’s Wassail Cider Recipe.

Wassail Cider Recipe
My house smells of cinnamon and oranges, all nostalgia fragrances from my childhood around the holidays. Two things that were always served on Christmas growing were Quiche Lorraine and hot Wassail Cider. Be prepared for your home to smell like Christmas. You’ll want to keep it on the stove all the time! I love to serve Wassail with this Limone Biscotti. When dunked in this spicy hot drink, the combination is sooo good!
