4 Ingredient Caramel Brownies

Ingredients

Brownies

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • chocolate chips (optional)

Caramel Topping

  • 1 bag (10.8 oz) chewy caramels (I like Werther's Originals)
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan.

  2. Mix together box cake mix, melted butter, and evaporated milk until well combined. Press the entire mixture into the pan and bake for 15 minutes.

  3. While the brownies are baking, combine caramel chews and evaporated milk in a pot over medium heat. Stir until the caramels melt and the evaporated milk combines to a super smooth texture. Remove from heat.

  4. Pour caramel sauce over the brownie mixture and place back in the oven for another 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
