Mud Room Transformed
I finally finished all the stenciled tile spanning from my powder room, through my mud room, and on to my laundry room. I cannot believe the impact it has made to my home. I’m so excited to finally show you my mud room. If you are looking for the tutorial on my painted tile click here:

Fortunately for us, the locker station was already here. All we had to do was give it a couple coats of paint to bring it back to life. We used Whisper White by Sherwin Williams for these lockers and all the moulding throughout our home. I quickly styled it with items I already owned, and added the storage bins below. Such a great way to hide all the little shoes worn by my children.
Here’s the view from my garage door looking into my kitchen. I just love the black and white patterned tile against the dark wood floors.
And finally the “Before” pictures you are all wanting to view. I always love seeing the progress of a home and where it started. A lot of change for about $150 in supplies. This price includes the powder room, mudroom, and laundry of course!!
You know you can’t leave with that image in your head!

It looks amazing!! I have tiles in the bathroom. Would love to use your trick. What type of paint did u use, also were there any pointers on the cleaning the tiles.
How are they holding up???
I might have gone with a more masculine color scheme, but I do have to admit this is some fantastic work. Congratulations! Looks like you made all the right moves, which can make even the most complex task easy. Did you do your own drawings or just work from mental imaging? I'm always curious about someone's process and how they start out.

giovannie, Im not sure what your asking? If your referring to the stencil I used on the floor, I saw a similar pattern in cement tile and just custom ordered the pattern to match my tile size square by square. Hope that answers your question
I love the information on your website. thnx!.
That looks fabulous! How has that floor held up? I want to do something like that in our downstairs bathroom, its high traffic.
Marie, thank you so much! It has held up beautifully! Check out this post for both tutorials.
