My Holiday Home Tour 2015

I’m so excited to be sharing my home with you for the holidays.  This is our first Christmas in this home, and my first Christmas as a blogger.  Does all your decor stay within one overlying theme or does it evolve from room to room?  I’d like to call my theme “Rustic Glam”, but there are a few areas where I went more traditional to keep it fun for the kiddos (i.e my porch and mud room). Oh… and I flocked my tree myself, along with all my garland and a few small wreaths.  As long as you don’t mind the mess, its a super easy project! I love the happiness that Christmas decor brings into the home.  It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

The exterior of my home is strung with Red and white old-fashioned lights, and my kids think its pretty cool.  Both entries are decorated in this fashion.

Here’s where we start to transition from the red to metallics and white.  I chose not to hang the stockings on the mantel this year.  Instead I clipped a large branch from my yard and embellished it with a few bulbs and a string of lights.
