New Exterior Paint Adding Old-World Charm
With winter approaching fast, we’re racing against the clock to finish our exterior paint project before the snow sets in. Yes, I’m painting brick again, but this time, I’m excited to try something a little different!
I’m using Romabio Masonry Flat Paint, which is a game-changer for the look I’m going for. This flat finish will give our new home that beautiful Old-World charm, complementing both our brick and stone choices perfectly. It’s quite a shift from the semi-gloss finish on our current home, which has that modern French country vibe.

Why Romabio Masonry Flat Paint?
One of the reasons I chose Romabio’s paint is its durability. This paint is designed to be permanent, making it a fantastic choice for long-term results. Working with Fusion Paint and Supply in Park City, we even created a custom tint that’s exactly right for our home’s exterior style.

Deciding on an Accent Color
Choosing the perfect accent color for the pop-outs has been a fun but challenging process! If you’ve been following my stories, you know I’m debating between a warm light gray, a deep bronze-gray, and a warm tan. Each of these options would look great, so it’s really coming down to personal preference. I’m hopeful that once the brick is painted, it will make my final decision clearer. What do you think—light gray, bronze-gray, or tan? Let me know in the comments below!

Architectural Expertise and 3D Renderings
Special thanks to James Carrick, our architect, for providing the 3D renderings that helped us visualize each color option on the house. James was also the architect for our current home, and you can find those plans on our website. Having these renderings has made such a difference in our planning process, letting us see the colors from both front and back views.

Light gray or bronze gray. Like them both.😊
Bronze gray is beautiful. Light grey very nice too. Not a fan of the tan.
Your project is looking great! I’m currently building my own home, and I’m aiming for a similar Old-World style. I’ve been talking to home builders, for ideas on finishes and colors. Can’t wait to see how yours turns out!
