We blinked, and it’s almost November! Who else is feeling like holidays creeped up…and fast? With Halloween on Friday, I have already begun thinking of how I want to update my holiday decorations, trees and mantle! The mantle is usually the focal point of the whole space so I’m sharing 3 Christmas mantle decor ideas that will be sure to inspire you. Bring on the holiday cheer!
With it being the first Christmas in the new house, I have some exciting ideas and ways to execute and I am taking you along for it all!
I feel like the second Halloween is over people can feel ok about going ‘full holiday mode’. This is the perfect time to get inspired and grab all the goods to make your home a holiday wonderland before they sell out!
If you’re like me, I like to do something a little different each year. And this year is no different – But even I need a little Christmas mantle inspiration from time to time. I have always used my tried and true garlands and staple pieces but I like to try to put a new spin on it.
Here are some of my favorite holiday mantles I have done in the past…
This Whimsical, Woodsy Christmas Mantle was different from others I had done in the past. It was so FUN because I foraged my own stems to make it come to life. It was full of texture and I was in love with the asymmetrical look of it all. This whole Christmas mantle inspiration came from wanting to use what we had on our property and it was new for me. Plus it got the whole family involved with hunting and gathering!
To continue the theme, this Whimsical and Woodsy Christmas Tree was truly a top 2 tree for me. The balance of it all was just my favorite. Even looking at it now, it had such a wow factor I loved so much!
To customize my Nostalgic Elegant Christmas Mantle, I made DIY’d these Wood House Candle Holders which added a youth and whimsy to a classic look. It honestly turned out to be one of my kid’s all time favorites. There was just so much fun, color and texture. I think it may have been one of my faves too!

This Whimsical Christmas Mantle was super cozy. I took a lot of what I had used in previous years but DIY’d these Wooden Christmas Tree Cutouts. They turned out so cute. I tend to use the same garland year to year and add to it. Garland is an investment, but I feel like in the long run, it’s totally worth it. This mantle I highlighted another one of my favorite pieces from Teal Barn Signs. She really is such a talented artist and cherish her pieces so much!
