Spring Front Porch Refresh

DIY

While the weather may not be able to decide what season it is, I have officially decided it’s spring. And that means it’s time for a spring front porch refresh. This weird transitional time between winter and spring always has me itching for a fresh start. So there’s nothing like adding some color and florals back into the front porch decor to make the house feel more alive after a very dreary and cold winter.

I started by making this Easter basket arrangement. It only needs a few supplies and is super easy to pull together. You’ll take a pool noodle and wrap it in peel and stick moss sheets. Then, stick some faux tulips in a styrofoam dome. Add it all to a planter with a little bit of moss to cover the styrofoam. And then add some filler flowers and ribbon to it for a little something extra. Watch me put it all together in the reel below!

These colorful faux tulips from Walmart are really great and were exactly what my front porch needed!

Next, I added faux topiaries to my front planters to bring some life and color back to the porch. I like that I am able to fill out these planters that I have on my front porch with bright greenery this time of year.

I hung these pink wreaths on the doors to liven them up. It also adds to the symmetry of the topiaries.

The final touch to this spring front porch refresh was the woven bunny rabbit that I added for some more Easter festivity. He’s the perfect balance of being festive without being cheesy!

Another simple way to add to your spring porch refresh would be to layer doormats. I really like this one with this striped pink one layered under it.

This spring front porch refresh was fairly quick and easy, but I’m so happy to add some color back in to ring in spring!
