Budget Friendly Shared Girls Room Reveal

DIY

I teased this project a little bit a couple of weeks ago, but this budget friendly shared girls room is ready for its full reveal! As a recap, my nieces, aged 3 and 7, share a bedroom. The little one had just recently moved out of a crib into a big girl bed, and while trying to determine how to best layout the room to accommodate another twin bed, we decided it was also time for a little room makeover. And now that it’s complete, it’s time for a budget friendly shared girls room reveal!

Now, to start, I asked my nieces what they wanted to see in their new bedroom. And these two little ones are as girly as it gets. Their only requests were pink, blue, and flowers. That I can work with! The goal was to incorporate their love of flowers and color into a cohesive shared space that also had its own little spaces for each of them.

Pretty much everything in this room is from Walmart or Amazon, which ultimately helped in keeping the costs of furniture and decor down. And while they may be budget friendly pieces, they are not lacking in style or quality. The dresser was a vintage flip that I did last year. These pieces are so fun and whimsical and will easily grow with the girls for years to come.
